Great News From Food Service!

We are pleased to inform you that Kelloggsville Public Schools will again be participating in an option available to schools as part of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2019-2020 school year!


The GREAT NEWS is that ALL STUDENTS enrolled in Kelloggsville can receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at NO CHARGE each and every day of the school year! If you have questions, please contact Food Service at 532-1576 or email



What can my child expect at mealtime?  Meals are offered as a combo which includes a protein item, whole grain item, 100% fruit juice, fresh or canned fruit in juice, green salad and other fresh vegetables, and milk.  In order for your child to receive these meals free of charge, your child should:

  • choose at least one serving of fresh vegetables, fruits, or fruit juice
  • choose at least two more food items from the menu, such as:

o   a protein item (i.e., chicken, hamburger) or protein alternate (i.e., yogurt, cheese)

o   a whole grain item (i.e., dinner roll, bun, pizza crust)

o   1% white milk or chocolate milk (provided by Country Dairy in New Era)

Eating foods from each of the food groups is the only way to ensure students are receiving all essential nutrients.



The Food Service Program of Kelloggsville Public Schools operates under the guidelines of the federally mandated USDA National School Meals Program. Our primary goal is to provide students with delicious, well-balanced breakfast and lunch options every school day. Plentiful fresh vegetable and fruit choices are offered daily.
School meals are carefully planned and prepared to meet not only strict government guidelines, but also the taste of our customers.
Your child will be encouraged to make healthy meal choices because their bodies and minds need good nutrition to learn and have the energy to stay active throughout their day.
