One of the projects in an algebra class taught by Rick Jackson was a point of interest. The real-world assignment had students flipping houses. The article "A pretty flippin' cool assignment" was written by Bridie Bereza and published by School News Network.

About Us

Through both online and direct instruction classes, 54th Street Academy is an alternative high school campus that allows for students that are behind in credits to build those credits back up toward graduation at a traditional high school. Students also have the option of finishing their high school education at the Academy through our 18-credit program that grants the students a High School Diploma. Whether students are in need of credit recovery, a non-traditional learning environment, or a faster track to high school graduation, 54th Street academy has something for every student.
