KVS Secondary Student Virtual Expectations

Each day, the student will be expected to attend a virtual PRIDE meeting with their mentor to check in with the student and their general well-being, prepare the student for their lessons, and answer any general questions the student may have. These virtual meetings will take about 30 minutes each day.

Teachers will release all of the student's coursework at the start of the week. Students should expect to spend 30-45 minutes per class per day to complete work.

Our Middle School students will be expected to attend morning PRIDE meetings as well as their daily scheduled virtual lesson. Our High School students will be expected to attend daily morning PRIDE meetings.

KVS Secondary In-Person Academic Help Opportunities

An Academic Help Room is available at Kelloggsville High School, with certified teachers available to help students with their coursework. Students will enter through the KVS entrance to the left of the main entrance. The purpose of this room is for students to complete assignments, take tests, meet with counselors, and get academic help as needed. Students may not attend more than one session a day and do not have to stay for the entire session if they complete their needed tasks.

1st session:  9:30 AM-11:15 AM  (Monday through Friday)
2nd session: 12:15 PM-2:00 PM (Monday through Friday)
