On Monday, January 10th, 2023 at our Board of Education meeting, we were able to honor our winter Rocket Recognition recipients! These Kelloggsville staff members go above and beyond to help our students Soar with Opportunities. Here is what their fellow staff members had to say about this quarter's recipients:

- Henry Warren is one of our bus drivers! "Henry always brightens everyone's day! Henry comes to work with a smile on his face and greets every student that gets on his bus with that same smile. He can often be found going the extra mile to make sure that his bus shines as bright as his smile and demeanor!"

- Kendra Whip is a 2nd grade teacher at West Kelloggsville Elementary! "Kendra is a problem-solver, an innovator, and a dynamic team member of West. She can teach the most troubled or struggling student with grace and empathy coupled with complete professionalism. Likewise, she can accelerate and challenge her brightest of students. Kendra Whip exemplifies what a Kelloggsville Rocket educator should look like, in and outside of her classroom."

- Troy Ricketson is a Special Education Math teacher at Kelloggsville High School. "Troy has done an amazing job with this transition in learning all new aspects of the job as he transitioned to both KHS and into the Special Education department this year. He excels at developing relationships with students and it's obvious he loves working with high school students in the classroom setting. On top of all of this, he coaches varsity basketball and spends countless hours here at the high school invested in not only his teaching but his coaching too."
