Great Start Readiness Program PreK

Tuition-free PreK for 4-year-olds is available through Michigan's Great Start Readiness Program, which is ranked number 1 nationally for quality, and we’re excited to have a classroom right here at Kelloggsville!

What makes GSRP so high-quality? 

• Research-based curriculum focused on early literacy, math, social-emotional learning and problem-solving skills
• Learning is play-based to encourage creativity and curiosity

• Small class sizes ensure plenty of individual attention

Enrollment opens for the 2026-2027 school year on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Placement notifications will begin shortly after enrollment opens and will be made weekly going forward.

Great Start Readiness Program is part of Michigan’s PreK for All initiative.

What You Will Need to Apply

The following documentation is required during the application process:

• Proof of birth - copy of legal birth certificate, passport, hospital record, baptismal record or other government form

• Proof of income - income tax form, W-2, pay stub, unemployment, written statement from employer, foster care reimbursement, SSI documentation, child support, alimony or pensions

• Proof of residency - driver's license with current address, current utility bill, rent receipt, tax bill or land contract

• Immunization Record or signed waiver from the Health Department

• IEP if necessary
