Monday: Pajama Day Kick off spirit week with a relaxing day in your PJs.
Tuesday: Twin Day or Jersey Day Find someone to dress up like you and be your twin or wear your favorite sports jersey.
Wednesday: Teachers dress down & Students dress up Day Teachers wear your comfy clothes today while your students dress for success in their “Sunday” best.
Thursday: Neon & Tie-Dye Day Get out your Neon and Tie-Dye shirt for this day.
Friday: Orange & Blue Day Rockets, show your school pride by rocking your rocket apparel. It’s game day, so show your support for tonight’s game

The new laws align Michigan with national standards regarding booster seat use and rear/forward-facing car seat requirements. Motor vehicle accidents are the second leading cause of death for children under 18. The new laws take effect on April 2, 2025. A flier is attached for distribution. The new legislation updates child safety restraint requirements with these key provisions:
- Rear-facing car seats: Required for children until they are at least 2 years old or reach the manufacturer's height and weight limits.
- Forward-facing car seats: Required for children until they are 5 years old or reach the manufacturer's height and weight limits.
- Booster seats: Required for children until they are at least 8 years old or 4 feet 9 inches tall.

Attendance Raffle: Valentine's Week Edition! KV is holding another attendance raffle on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025! Students must be present and on time to ALL KV buildings first thing on 2/12/25 in the morning to be eligible for the raffle! Students CANNOT be tardy, so our 6-12th grade students need to be in class at 7:40 a.m., and elementary students need to be in class at 8:25 a.m. Raffle tickets will be handed out to students on Wednesday, with two winners drawn per building. Each winner will receive a prize basket!
