Monday, February 13th: Pajama Day-Kick off spirit week with a relaxing day in your PJs.
Tuesday, February 14th: Red, Pink or Anything Valentine’s Day-Dress your best in red and pink to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Wednesday, February 15th: Wacky Hair or Hat Day-Make your hair wacky & crazy or wear a hat to cover it up.
Thursday, February 16th: Camouflage Day-Get out your Camouflage shirt for this day.
Friday, February 17th: Orange & Blue Day-Okay Rockets, show your school pride by rocking your Rocket apparel. It’s game day, so show your support for tonight’s game.

The new laws align Michigan with national standards regarding booster seat use and rear/forward-facing car seat requirements. Motor vehicle accidents are the second leading cause of death for children under 18. The new laws take effect on April 2, 2025. A flier is attached for distribution. The new legislation updates child safety restraint requirements with these key provisions:
- Rear-facing car seats: Required for children until they are at least 2 years old or reach the manufacturer's height and weight limits.
- Forward-facing car seats: Required for children until they are 5 years old or reach the manufacturer's height and weight limits.
- Booster seats: Required for children until they are at least 8 years old or 4 feet 9 inches tall.

Attendance Raffle: Valentine's Week Edition! KV is holding another attendance raffle on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025! Students must be present and on time to ALL KV buildings first thing on 2/12/25 in the morning to be eligible for the raffle! Students CANNOT be tardy, so our 6-12th grade students need to be in class at 7:40 a.m., and elementary students need to be in class at 8:25 a.m. Raffle tickets will be handed out to students on Wednesday, with two winners drawn per building. Each winner will receive a prize basket!
